Cycling the magical Lisbon Coast.
I am beyond blessed to live on Portugal's stunning Lisbon Coast. Since moving here in 2014, this beautiful region has been my muse and inspiration behind many of my compositions and songs. I have explored its width and breadth on the wheels of a bike, and now I am excited to share part of my everyday life through my new tour company, Vera Cruz Cycling Tours Portugal.
We recently launched our Tagus Coastal Heritage Cycling Tour, a 4-hour guided tour between Belém and Caxias. This 20km round trip allows you to discover old monuments, forts, churches, monasteries, and beautifully manicured gardens. We also stop for a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch at one of the local landmark restaurants. Along the way, you'll gain insights into the rich historical splendor of the route—from pre-Roman times through the ages of dynasties.
It can be challenging to explain in words the depth and beauty of this coastline, so I have put together a visual representation of this unspoiled and stunning part of Western Europe.
